6th February. Mr. Bernard Braine, replying to a question from Mr. Jeremy Thorpe, stated that the equivalent of 198 full-time psychologists were employed in the National Health Service in England and Wales on 30th September, 1962, the latest date for which national figures were available. 13 th February. Replying to a question from Lord Balniel, the Minister of Health, Mr. Anthony Barber, gave in a written answer the terms of reference of the new Training Council for the staff of training centres for the mentally subnormal of which Lady Adrian is Chairman. He also stated the names of the members of the Council who include Miss M. Lindsay, Educational Adviser to the Association.
